About the Role
As a Maths GCSE Tutor, you’ll work closely with students to build their understanding of key mathematical principles. Through personalised lessons, you’ll help learners overcome challenges, improve their problem-solving skills, and gain confidence as they approach their exams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons tailored to each student’s needs
2. Break down complex topics and make them accessible and engaging
3. Reinforce key areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and exam technique
4. Monitor progress and provide clear feedback to parents and schools
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level
2. Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum
3. Clear communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach
4. A degree in Mathematics or Education is preferred but not essential
