Our client, a leading global engineering business, are seeking an Events Officer to support their international, national and local market engagement through high-profile exhibitions and events. This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering impactful events. Key Responsibilities: Organise and coordinate our participation in international exhibitions across defence and other critical industries. Manage external contractors such as event organisers, stand-builders, and freight forwarders to ensure seamless event execution. Oversee event administration, including registrations, logistics, and scheduling. Collaborate with our in-house designer to develop engaging brand and campaign messaging. Support internal events, including media visits, demonstrations, and VIP engagements. Assist in career fairs and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with HR. Deliver community engagement events as part of our social value activities. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in event management, preferably including exhibitions. Ability to align event delivery with marketing objectives. Strong contractor management skills with a problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
