Sutherland House School is a non-maintained specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19. The school prides itself on creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Previous experience with autistic pupils or teaching in an additional needs environment is desirable; however, full training and support will be given.
As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the lives of autistic pupils and their families. You will have a commitment to planning and delivering engaging lessons and will engage with a wide range of professionals, including therapists, to ensure all pupils are reaching their full potential.
