The Role: As a Tax Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing a diverse client portfolio and delivering tax advisory services. You’ll also be responsible for mentoring and developing junior team members. Attend meetings to assess client goals effectively. Tax Services: Work on corporate advisory projects like restructuring, MBOs, and succession planning. Review tax returns for family businesses and corporate groups. Business Development: Engage with clients on tax matters and contribute to growing the firm’s client base through networking and events. Team Collaboration: Support colleagues with complex tax issues, assist in project planning, and work with Partners on advisory services. Growth: Stay updated on technical knowledge, share insights, and manage productivity, costs, and client billing. Stakeholder Communication: Simplify and communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, collaborating to meet business goals. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experienced: Must hold a Chartered Accountant, ATT, or CTA qualification. Tax Specialist: Strong technical skills in business or mixed tax, capable of providing commercial tax advice and leading teams. Communicative: A people person with excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information and build client trust. Collaborative: A team player who shares knowledge, supports colleagues, and works well under tight deadlines.
