We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 1 student with ASD. The student has settled well into the school but requires additional support to navigate their academic and personal development journey. About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
* Provide tailored academic assistance using visual aids and sensory devices to engage the student effectively.
* Support the student in daily activities, ensuring they stay hydrated, take regular breaks, and attend to personal needs like toileting
* • Encourage active participation in activities the student enjoys, such as jumping on the trampoline
* • Foster a caring and structured environment to help manage occasional challenging behaviour.
