Your role will involve managing grid connection applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit connection applications for Solar PV installations. Collect and review technical data, site assessments, and compliance documents to support applications. Serve as the main point of contact for DNO communications. Organise site visits, witness tests, and fuse pull activities in collaboration with DNO and internal teams. Ensure adherence to DNO requirements and grid connection standards. Schedule site surveys and keep clients updated on the progress of DNO applications. Work closely with design, sales, and project management teams to align timelines and manage expectations. Monitor and follow up on application statuses, addressing any revisions or additional requirements. Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and correspondence while updating the CRM system. Support solar and heat design teams to ensure project accuracy and technical alignment. What We’re Looking For: Electrical installation qualifications (Level 2/3) (Desirable) Experience managing DNO applications for Solar PV, ASHP, or EV installations (Essential). Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., G98, G99, G100) (Essential). Background in renewable energy or solar industries (Essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills. Solid understanding of technical requirements and compliance documentation for renewable energy projects.
