NRL are working with a leading E&I contractor who now require an Electrical Field Engineer to join a long-term project in Essex.
You must be a self-starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines. Excellent time management, prioritizing and communication skills are essential.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. Prepare builders work drawings
2. Scheduling and tracking of the project
3. Prepare record drawings
4. Preparation of design drawings
5. Alterations to working drawings
6. Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals
7. Processing requisitions, generation of purchase orders and confirm delivery to site
8. Contact with suppliers to obtain most cost-effective order price
9. Organising draft contracts and quotes
10. Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
11. Reviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required
12. All other duties associated with this role
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. A minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Engineer
2. Proven record of coordinating on projects
3. Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
4. Ability to drive a large-scale project
5. A construction background
