What will this role achieve?
Reporting to the Team Managers the successful candidate will provide supervision and support to a team of operators responsible for all areas of wrapping production.
The role requires a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production whilst working as part of a dynamic team.
What will be your key deliverables?
1. Take ownership and accountability of the Supply Chain Excellence initiatives including tiered meetings and updating the boards.
2. To ensure adherence to all quality and safety standards.
3. To ensure plant start-up and shut-down are properly planned and performed
4. To achieve planned output within specification.
5. To maximise plant efficiency and to minimise TOS and waste.
6. To maximise the labour utilisation.
7. To ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.
8. To develop line operatives in line with company best practice.
9. Support the Team Leaders in the introduction and support of any improvement initiatives.
10. Provide a strong and co-ordinated link with all production processes on the line.
11. Training will be provided to learn how to feed the biscuits
12. Will be in charge of the team holidays.
