Role and Responsibilities: The Programme Coordinator ensures the smooth running of Professional courses, meeting educational standards and providing valuable study tourism experiences. As well as working closely with the centre team, the post holder will work closely with the Professional Courses Development Manager, giving input to inform wider strat egic decisions. They will be familiar with and adhere to all company policies, procedures and relevant handbook. Key responsibilities&tasks: Plan the course timetable, including company visits, guest speaker sessions, module delivery, group project work, and project tutorial time. Manage logistical aspects of the courses such as classroom allocation, equipment, and materials. Ensure compliance with college policies, accreditation standards, and relevant regulations. Maintain staff and student records, including HR, invoicing, minutes, and evaluations. Identify, recruit, and hire qualified tutors for each course module. Provide on-boarding, training, and ongoing support for tutors. Manage all professional course tutors, providing on-boarding, training, and ongoing support. Monitor and evaluate tutor performance, providing feedback and support as needed, and managing poor performance where. Coordinate with Admissions and Student Services to forecast enrolment numbers and plan classes. Conduct induction sessions for new students and provide information on course structure and resources. Ensure ongoing student support and engagement throughout the course. Collect and address student feedback on the course. Communicate any changes to the course schedule or content to students. Liaise with Professional Courses Development Manager (PCDM) on bespoke Professional Courses and specific student bookings. Manage invoicing and financial reporting related to courses. Work with PCDM on course dates, operations, and strategic improvements. Ensure proper documentation for student attendance and certificates. Maintain relationships with guests and industry partners for company visits and real-world learning experiences. Look for networking opportunities and events for students with industry professionals. Teach English as, in agreement with the Director of Studies and Centre Director. Provide cover where necessary for tutors in professional courses. Manage invoices and ensure courses are run as efficiently as possible, reporting where necessary on spending. Collect and analyse feedback to assess and improve course effectiveness. Support with the maintenance of digital resources ( Study.Bayswater ) are up to date to support learning Knowledge, Qualification and Experience: Essential Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL (TEFL-I status) Cambridge Delta or Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent (TEFL-Q status) Desirable MA Applied Linguistics and ELT/TESOL Teacher Trainer status and/or teacher development experience Experience of teaching ESPs, such as Business, Academic English PGCE Experience of using interactive touch screen TVs in the classroom Skills and Attributes Commitment to maintain high quality academic standards Commitment to personal and professional development Creative course content and solutions to problems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Resilient with a flexible, ‘can-do’ approach to work A team player and able to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of people Committed to equality and diversity Committed to continuous improvement through being outward looking and reflective What we offer Competitive remuneration package based on qualifications & experience.
