What you'll be doing
1. You will support the successful delivery of the GTP comprising a strategic portfolio of large projects and other initiatives which spans the business and change work-streams across multiple business areas to deliver cost out and enabling the delivery of strategic objectives for DLG.
2. You will track, monitor and report on business wide activity delivery in service of the strategic transformation plan, agreed and executable opportunities. Production of high quality and consistent management information (MI) to Board and Executive level, in order to report progress against the objectives of the programme, variances and specifically identify any slippage in terms of FTE and financials against the blueprint design for the organisation (target operating model) and financial plans.
3. You will design and utilise a robust benefits tracking tool capability that is capable of tracking and producing analysis and management information.
4. Set up and establish reporting capability and cadence for tracking opportunities through a maturity hopper, working with the TMO where appropriate for gating and milestone delivery, into successful execution to be able to demonstrably prove benefits relating to the cost optimisation programme.
5. Establish a benefits tracking process and reporting mechanism utilising existing PlanView and Power BI tooling to determine that the programme benefits realisation strategy and that benefits tracking are being delivered.
6. Track and facilitate the current inflight, planned, and future activities within the COO office that relate to the business area strategic transformations.
7. Support the Cost Optimisation Managers and federated change and delivery teams to be able to report and monitor that teams are delivering to time, to budget and to quality, identifying slippage and assisting to identify and unblock any issues relating to successful delivery.
8. Provide support in ensuring the programme adheres to the agreed accounting, HR and change framework, policies, standards and governance and that any deviation is appropriate and approved.
9. Maintain a fully integrated plan that includes timelines, resource requirements, dependencies and milestones for each project within scope and with any external dependent project inbound or outbound, managing these actively across the organisation to ensure no surprises.
10. Work closely with HR and Finance Business Partners to manage budgets in relation to Cost savings.
What we're looking for
1. Strong Stakeholder Engagement Skills - ability to work across teams, with stakeholders and support functions, in particular HR and Finance business partners and change delivery teams.
2. Previous experience in managing and delivering large-scale projects or strategic portfolios, ideally in a transformation or cost-optimisation environment.
3. Skilled in tracking, monitoring, and reporting project progress across multiple workstreams and business areas.
4. Expertise in producing high-quality, consistent MI for senior stakeholders, including Board and Executive-level reports.
5. Tool Proficiency - Experience in using key tools such as Planview and Power BI.
