Job Role and Responsibilities:
As a Psychology Support Assistant, you will:
Work one-on-one and in small groups with students who have special educational needs (SEN).
Support students with emotional and behavioral challenges, helping them develop positive coping strategies.
Assist with creating a positive learning environment that fosters personal and academic growth.
Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and external specialists.
Be involved in a range of activities to promote mental health awareness and resilience among pupils.Requirements:
A degree in Psychology or a related field.
A passion for working with children and young people, ideally within an education and training setting.
Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
