A highly motivated Interim HR Officer is required to join a committed HR team within a well-established Not for Profit organisation, based in Manchester.

Description
The key responsibilities of an Interim HR Officer will include, but may not be limited to:
1. Provide HR support and guidance to managers and staff members.
2. Support with new starter processes including issuing offer letters, contracts of employment and other documentation.
3. Liaise with the Head of Human Resources to ensure appropriate and relevant training modules are completed.
4. Support with the administration of vetting checks.
5. Produce monthly staffing reports, providing HR statistics and data to the Board of Governors.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
7. Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
8. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
9. Monitor and review HR metrics, such as staff turnover and absence rates.
10. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and industry regulations.
11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services and processes.
Profile
A successful Interim HR Officer should have:
1. A degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
2. Previous experience of working in an HR generalist role.
3. Practical experience in a similar HR role.
4. Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A high level of discretion and confidentiality.
7. CIPD Level 3 or above, or in progress.
8. Strong organisational and time management abilities.
9. Proficiency in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. ER/Case work and Educational background desirable.
11. Enhanced DBS Clearance.
12. Ability to commute to Hulme.
Job Offer
