Job Title: Logistics Operative Location: Watford, Hertfordshire, UK Employment Type: Temporary/Contract (potential for permanent placement) Day Rate: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Start Date: Immediate About the Role: We are seeking a logistics operative for to be part of our team refurbishing the Sky Studios, Watford. This temporary position offers the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. This role is available for an immediate start. Key Responsibilities: Management of Biosite for booking and coordinating deliveries. Logistics coordination, including the distribution and management of deliveries to various buildings. Stores management, including cleaning site stores and cabins to ensure they are well-organised. Conducting weekly stock takes of site stores and providing detailed records to management for review. Labouring support as required and liaising daily with site supervisors and management to ensure smooth operations. Project Types: The work involves projects such as sound stages, workshops, and offices. Candidates with relevant experience in these areas will be highly preferred. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: Regular working hours. No weekends or overtime required. Mandatory Qualifications and Certifications: To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following: First Aid at Work Certificate Manual Handling Certificate Banksman Certificate Relevant CSCS Card Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of on-site construction experience, ideally within commercial and industrial settings. Experience working on projects involving sound stages, workshops, and offices is highly desirable. Knowledge of MEP components would be preferred. Physical Requirements: This role involves physical activity, including: Manual handling tasks. Working at heights. Regular movement around the site, including lifting and carrying materials.
