About the role: As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for supporting stakeholders across the business to ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner. You will be working alongside our existing IT Technician, the successful candidate will be proving first and second line support and ensuring the smooth running of the IT function. As a business, we fully support hybrid working and have both working from home and flexible working policies. For this particular role, we would expect the candidate to be based at our Cheltenham Head Office 4 days per week. Cheltenham is ideally located for candidates commuting from across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, and Bristol. About you: You are a proactive and dedicated IT Technician who consistently delivers excellent customer service. You will be experienced in providing first and second line support, with a strong technical understanding of Windows 10 /11, Office 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Your expertise with the Microsoft tool set should include, Office 365, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive enabling you to support users effectively and enhance system performance. In this role, you will manage and develop our helpdesk system, handling day to day support requests, software/hardware installations, Windows machine builds, mobile device management, while also ensuring IT security is adhered to across all platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal 3rd line support and 3rd party support to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Train and support users while also creating valuable documentation for the team and business. We value someone with a positive attitude, their reliability and capability to thrive under pressure. You will require strong communication skills, and a willingness to continuously learn and progress in your role is essential. A ttivo regularly acquire businesses from across the UK, and consequently there will be a requirement for you to attend new office locations to support and setup the new space on an ad-hoc basis. Due to this need applicants with a full UK driving licence are preferred. Key Responsibilities include: Provide 1st/2nd line IT support to the business Managing and maintaining the security of endpoint devices Maintain an up to date record of all company assets Managing the technical needs of the joiner and leaver processes Ensure smooth day to day operations of IT Core Systems Ensure daily backup checks of core systems are successful Making technical recommendations to improve our systems and processes Educating staff on best practices through inductions and documentation Providing assistance with IT Transformation and technical projects Installing and maintaining all IT hardware and software for the business Essential skills and experience Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive Technical knowledge of Windows 10 /11, O365 and Azure First and second line support experience Experience of working under pressure Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written Relevant technical competence Willing to progress in role and take courses/exams as appropriate Desirable skills and experience IT qualifications Knowledge of working in Financial Services environment Relevant IT qualifications ITIL Trained Apple IOS Azure Knowledge of working in Financial Services environment Salary and benefits Up to £30,000 depending on experience.
