Process Inspector
Location: Glasgow
Shift Pattern: Mon - Thursday
Are you ready to step into a dynamic role within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment? We're looking for a CMM Process Inspector to join our Quality Control team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-tech production processes while enhancing your expertise in product quality and process compliance.
The Role
As a Process Inspector, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with various teams within manufacturing, driving improvements in both product quality and adherence to processes. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting business objectives by ensuring strict compliance with Quality and Process standards.
2. Reporting product or process issues swiftly and accurately.
3. Documenting Non-Conformances within an ERP system.
4. Verifying the completion and accuracy of required quality assurance documents.
What You Bring:
Technical Skills
* Experience in a mechanical engineering discipline.
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
* Strong data analysis and report writing skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Engaging others in improvement activities and promoting best practices.
Experience & Qualifications
* Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant Higher Education qualification.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience in a Quality role preferred.
* Experience with CMM (MCOSMOS system preferred) – additional training available.
* Experience with optical components is a plus but not essential.
