We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our dynamic and growing team, delivering high-quality mechanical services across healthcare and education projects in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in managing multiple live projects, with a combined value of up to £4 million. The ideal candidate will be based in the GU postcode area and have a strong background in ductwork and pipefitting, as well as solid experience managing mechanical packages from design through to completion, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager and Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the delivery of multiple mechanical contracts, ensuring quality, safety, and budget control
2. Manage on-site teams and subcontractors across various healthcare and education projects
3. Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations
5. Use Procore to manage project documentation, communications, and scheduling
6. Report progress, financials, and risks to senior management
Requirements for the Mechanical Contracts Manager:
1. Proven experience managing mechanical installations, especially in healthcare and/or education sectors
2. Strong technical background in the installation of ductwork and pipefitting
3. Ideally degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
4. Proficient in Procore project management software
5. Exceptional organisational and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently across multiple projects
