We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Needs Team as a Choice Based Lettings Officer. Your role: The post holder will provide a comprehensive Choice Based Lettings service to customers with varying levels of housing need to enable suitable positive outcomes in line with Part VI (Housing Register and Allocations), Part VII (Housing Advice and Homelessness) and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. Officers will be expected to provide some initial housing advice and information at the first point of contact. However, officers in the choice based lettings team will focus on this specific area of need and service delivery. What you will need: The candidate will have previous experience of using inter-personal and negotiating skills and at least 3 years’ experience of working in a housing related role. Why work for us?
