The post-holder will : Have a Trust wide remit to support the delivery of the clinical effectiveness and clinical audit agenda, with specific focus on the Perinatal services Coordination and quality assurance of evidence for Quality and Risk Management external assessments including NHSLA and Care Quality Commission. Work closely with the Perinatal leadership team, to develop and maintain the standards of clinical care throughout the service. Develops and implements systems for monitoring of real-time patient information in order to triangulate with clinical incident reporting and investigation Lead and co-ordinate rapid case reviews, reporting serious incidents through Trust wide Pathways. Job Purpose The post holder will have responsibility for developing and coordinating robust systems of governance in order to monitor clinical effectiveness, manage risk, oversee actions and lead the Governance, Quality and Safety Team with the Maternity Services. Systems will align to national, regional and Trust level frameworks to ensure compliance with quality and risk management standards, achieving key performance indicators associated with CNST, Saving Babies Lives, Health Service Investigation Bureau (HSIB) and the Maternity Transformation Programme.
