We are currently looking for a 7.5 tonne C1 driver for TEMP-to-PERM position.
Our client is a successful company, the UK’s largest equipment rental provider.
About the Role
On a day-to-day basis you will be required to transport and install a range of our client’s attachment equipment. The installation will involve identifying excavator couplings and matching attachment couplings to suit and ensuring flow rates and pressure are set correctly for the attachment.
Your duties will also include finding and capturing machine damage and keeping accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records.
Working alongside colleagues, you will be a great team player and take pride in your workplace and working environment, making sure that high standards are maintained whilst complying with company procedures and process. Communicating effectively, ensuring that your Line Manager are kept informed as required.
Job Requirements
Able to work as a part of a tea, supporting colleagues
Ability to work 42.5 hours per week
Able to work for Temporary to permanent position
6:30 start 15:30 finish but must expect overtime due to site delays and traffic
Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embracing new training opportunities, which may on occasion requiring staying away from home.
Great communication skills- both verbal and written
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of EU tachograph regulations
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and hand tools (advantageous)
You’ll be articulate and organised with a good level of attention to detail and accuracy
A strong commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety as you’ll be required to comply with H&S legislation and environmental policies and procedures
Full UK driving licence, Cat C1 licence is essential
Driver CPC and Driver card
On occasions, where the business details you will be required to drive alternate vehicles (within your licence category)
