The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organised individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. You will have a strong sales background and sales pipeline experience. Location: This position is onsite at Billingham, North East England with some travel to customers as required. The role: Internal sales position, selling our manufactured range of functional and practical adapted bathroom equipment and accessories. The primary focus of the projects team is on main contractors, merchants & buying groups with a secondary focus on sub-contractors and specifiers. Primarily looking to reinforce relationships with known contractors & merchants Expected to allocate some time of the week to developing new business and opportunities Stay up to date on current projects, who is working on them and how far along they are Project sizes from £10,000-£100,000 (average order value £20,000) KPI’s based around: leads added, opportunities won, calls, appointments arranged etc. The ideal applicant: Must have construction sales AND business development experience Ideally within the washroom/bathroom industry but would consider related products such as tiling, architectural ironmongery, furniture, showering, flooring etc. A willingness to embrace technology Self-starter, comfortable in a small company environment Strong work ethic and integrity IT Literate to include CRM experience, preferably NetSuite and/or Hubspot
