ChampionX is seeking an experienced IT Operations Analyst located in Fawley, UK. The IT Operations Analyst will provide all aspects of local IT support within an Office and Plant environment at our ChampionX facility in Fawley and additionally provide remote support as part of a wider team, to other locations across the EMEA region. IT Depots and Fixed IT Assets: ensure the Asset Databases are maintained On-site support where available of Network and Infrastructure teams Management of Relationships within IT and the local Users & Business Liaise with external contractors as required Travel to other company locations as required Resolution of end user’s incident and service requests in accordance with the Global Client Support expectations Perform advanced incident and problem analysis as required to resolve incidents and requests Support software change requests as assigned Perform PC imaging tasks to build and deploy PC’s for new hires and replacement of old ones Perform implementation planning and support as required Attend end user meetings as requested to provide local support to users Work with all internal IT and vendor global support teams to act as a local IT resource as required to ensure regional infrastructure is maintained at a high service availability level Manage and deliver against assigned IT and business project initiatives Ensure all incidents, tasks and requests are appropriately assigned, progressed, updated, and resolved within agreed timeframes, including those allocated to other IT team members Confirm appropriate communication to customers on outstanding events Record and report on metrics and KPI’s in accordance with the global standards Ensure the Knowledge Base is continually reviewed and up to date. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the IT Policies and to the satisfaction of internal and external audit requirements Minimum Qualifications: Education - Diploma graduate, relevant IT certifications Advanced troubleshooting and problem analysis Oral and written communications in English Customer service skills Presentation skills Technical documentation skills 3 years of IT experience including 1 year in a technical customer support role Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy, and self-motivation Physical Demands: This role requires working in a chemical manufacturing plant.
