This role requires Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Somerset / Bristol.

The SEN / SEND Tutor Role
* Provide tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and other Additional Educational Needs.
* Support young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey.
* Provide trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
SEN / SEND Tutor Tasks And Responsibilities
* Plan each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring.
* Provide holistic and engaging sessions tailored to the young person's needs.
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress.
SEN / SEND Tutor Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist in obtaining this at cost if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and follow safeguarding policies.
SEN / SEND Tutor Employment Status
* This position involves short-term engagements as a Worker.
* Work through a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage.
* Insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed position.
