About the Role
As the Technical Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a crucial role in leading the scientific and regulatory functions within the company. You will be responsible for overseeing research and development, managing clinical trials, and ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations. You will collaborate closely with production, sales, and marketing teams, providing expert guidance on product innovation and positioning. Additionally, you will engage with external clients, scientists, and regulatory bodies, presenting high-quality technical and scientific information to support the company's flagship products.
Key Responsibilities
o Provide expert guidance on hypochlorous technology and product design.
o Oversee new product introduction, including research, testing, and data collection.
o Lead clinical trials, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation.
o Collaborate with suppliers on product efficacy, safety, and supporting evidence.
o Support sales and marketing with technical insights, presentations, and training.
o Engage with external scientists, medics, and technical experts to enhance credibility.
What We're Looking For
o Experience as a Technical Manager or in a similar technical/scientific role.
o Background in chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, or life sciences .
o Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, healthcare markets, and regulations .
o Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation .
o Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
o Degree level qualification (Masters, PhD, or research experience preferred).
o Understanding of hypochlorous technology is a plus.
