Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy but friendly ICNARC (Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre) data team within the Critical Care Unit at Salford Care Organisation. We welcome applications from candidates with excellent IT skills and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and return of data relating to patients and activity. Will identify information needs and manage information relating to patient care in collaboration with the Team Leader and Divisional Managers. Participate in the development and management of information systems implemented within the division. A good working knowledge of the Trusts Patient Centre and EPR systems would be beneficial as would a knowledge of the patient pathways and national CQUINs - inpatient, outpatient and A&E and the admission, discharge and transfer processes. Main duties of the job The main duties of the role involve the accurate and timely collection and inputting of regional and national mandated data into a bespoke software package documenting the Department of Health minimum data set. Full training will be provided. There may be ad hoc requirements to support our Intensive Care Unit at Fairfield General Hospital. Occasional weekend work on rota basis.
