Job Duties:
1. Assisting classroom teachers in delivering English language lessons and activities. 2. Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help with their English skills. 3. Helping to create educational materials and resources for English language learning. 4. Supporting classroom management and ensuring a positive learning environment. 5. Assisting in the assessment and evaluation of student progress in English. 6. Collaborating with teachers to develop lesson plans and educational strategies. 7. Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in English or a related field. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organisational abilities. - Ability to work effectively in a team setting. - Passion for education and helping students succeed.
Education:
University degree in English or a related field.
Experience:
Prior experience in a teaching or educational support role is beneficial but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in English language and grammar. - Understanding of educational principles and practises. - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. - Basic IT skills for creating and using educational materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching assistant certification. - Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. - Additional qualifications in education or related field.
Working Conditions:
- Working in a school setting under the supervision of classroom teachers. - Full-time hours during school term times. - Potential for additional responsibilities during school events or extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
