Weoffer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – pleasespeak to your recruiter about the options for this particularrole Salary – Circa £55,000 What you’ll be doing: As thePrincipal Engineer – Product Safety Engineering you have theopportunity to work within the Dreadnought programme on highlycomplex systems within the Submarine. You will be responsible forthe governance of safety analysis and assessment activities,Assurant to process approvals, able to provide feedback andconstructive criticism when there are problematic areas that needto be addressed. You will also be required to educate wider areasof the business to ensure the team are adhering topolicies. Your skills andexperiences: Essential:
* Chartered Engineer or workingtoward chartership or equivalent experience
Experienced in Industrial ControlsSystems TUV Functional SafetyExpert Experienced on both software andhardware IEC 61508 or IEC61511
Desirable:
* Strong knowledge of CyberSafety
Understanding of DefenceStandards Previous experience with theDefence Industry (E.g MoD) Submarine Engineering experience(Naval or Industry)

The Product Safety Team: As partof the Product Safety Team working in 2 areas of Delivery Processand Governance Process you will be supporting team and we move tothe next critical step of the project to help deliver productsafety ready for the build phase. You will be exposed to newtechnologies throughout the build process whilst modifying existingtechnologies to accommodate todays build.
