Department Overview To support on the Better Manufacturing programme with your line manager, we are committed to minimising the impact of our business on the environment. When looking at our product supplier operations, we focus on reducing energy consumption and carbon (CO2) emissions, and water usage, and reducing operational waste through recycling and chemical management. We are looking for a Coordinator to help build our future supply chain and support our suppliers in improving their facilities to help reach Net Zero and Water reduction targets. What you'll be doing Managing Higg tools, primarily Facility Environmental Module (FEM) portal: Supporting suppliers’ adoption of FEM (Tiers 1-3). Critical path of assessments annually, working with your line manager and SAC/ Worldly. Data analysis of Higg results from suppliers. Create score/ benchmark tool for commercial to support sourcing decisions. Support suppliers to develop actions in their action plan to reach targets. Support improvement of Scope 3/LCA data. Lead Decarbonisation programme, renewables per region and facility carbon reduction. Support development of water, waste, chemical, air, etc programme. Support developing our supplier engagement portal Nexus. Represent Dunelm at events and working groups. Additional tasks to support your line manager. Shared team responsibilities: Sustainability and business engagement events. Team meetings. Team admin e.g.: holiday trackers, etc. What we'll look for in you Good knowledge of sustainability. Good understanding of GHG protocol. Effective supply chain engagement & communication skills: confident at communicating with colleagues, suppliers, and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Reporting: good level of Excel and data skills. Sound data integrity skills. Organised and with good presentation skills. Ideal: experience in facility carbon reduction and knowledge of regional renewable energy. It would be beneficial to have the following skills: Worked with Higg tools before. Supply chain management. Worked for a brand in CSR departments or studied subjects such as design, geography, textiles, fashion management, supply chain environmental management, biodiversity. Ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with stakeholders including internal teams, suppliers, and other 3rd party organisations.
