THE ROLE
As a strategic People Partner, you will have a sense of purpose in delivering the vision for people at New Look. With a deep understanding of your business area, you will develop and implement a people plan that supports their strategy, drives business performance through people and ensure an organisation fit for purpose whilst also contributing to the delivery of the broader people plan at New Look.
You will provide trusted partnership to your functional directors and heads of department, understanding business performance measures and identify how you can strategically support, influence and drive this. Your customer will look to you as the expert in leadership, coaching, and driving business performance through people.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Strategic Partnership: Build strong relationships with functional directors and heads of departments, providing expert counsel and influencing business performance through people strategies.
* Customer Centricity: Anticipate and address immediate, short, and long-term needs of your customers.
* Data Utilisation: Use data and reporting to identify trends and incorporate insights into the people plan.
* Talent Development: Develop high-performing teams through robust talent processes, succession planning, and collaboration with stakeholders and L& D.
* Performance Management: Promote an effective performance management culture and support organisational change.
* Employee Relations: Provide knowledgeable support in ER issues and advise on complex cases.
* Engagement & Culture: Drive a people-first culture, lead engagement activities, and ensure feedback translates into actions.
* Diversity & Inclusion: Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion across the business.
* Collaboration: Build effective relationships with Centres of Excellence to support the delivery of the people plan
WHO YOU ARE
* Proven experience as a strategic leader, partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrates openness, honesty, and transparency, and models great behaviour.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
* Expertise in change management.
* Comfortable dealing with conflict and ambiguity
* High emotional intelligence to support, challenge, and coach effectively.
* Practical understanding of different leadership theories and practices.
* Thorough knowledge of UK employment law.
