Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team starting in September. The ideal candidates will be passionate about education, have a positive attitude, and possess the skills to support both teachers and students effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
- Assist teachers with the planning of learning activities and the preparation of resources.
- Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Work with small groups of students and provide one-on-one support as needed.
- Help with the supervision of students during breaks and lunchtimes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- A proactive approach to supporting students with varying needs and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
