Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer (On-site, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom)

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a team of Traffic Signals specialists in Oxfordshire. Due to growth and demand, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals, Traffic Lights, and related electrical equipment around Oxfordshire.
Training involves on-the-job learning, aiming for an NVQ in Electrical Installations and certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
Interested in troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, with some exposure to outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications, or related courses/diplomas.
Key Requirements:
* Motivated and eager to learn both on the job and online
* Experience in electrical testing, maintenance, fixing, or installation, or relevant qualifications
* Problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
* Full UK Driving Licence and residence in Oxfordshire
* Willing to undertake Drugs & Alcohol testing for compliance
