JOB SUMMARY
The Project Technician is at the heart of the service we provide to our clients at RFIDentikit. You will be responsible for using your coding and customer service skills to build the environments which allow the client to manage their events to comply with their security and access standards. You will be expected to work side by side to ensure that all their needs are met to a high standard.
You will work in a team of projects staff building the event environments and liaising with clients throughout. Our Project Technicians are the face of the business on site, all over the world, and from our office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Configure RFIDentikit proprietary software to create environments and assets for client events and access control operations.
· Create and configure bespoke client event portals for use by client staff, contractors, guests, and volunteers.
· Find solutions for client requests to personalise the service we provide.
· Manage workflows on Jira keeping up to date records of task progress and completion.
· Work directly with clients on sites worldwide; providing customer care, hardware, and software support. Provide on demand reporting and staff training including for third party contractors.
· Maintain a personalised service for clients with regular direct contact by email, remotely and face to face.
· Work with the Senior Project team to improve and customise the product creating a positive client experience.
· Represent the company with a positive and professional attitude in the presence of clients, whilst on site and when working with colleagues.
QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience of using Web responsive HTML & CSS, ideally in a work capacity or in a demonstratable personal capacity.
· Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
· Working experience of Microsoft Office applications.
· It would be desirable for you to demonstrate a working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, React, Bootstrap, MySQL.
· Experience of working in a backstage or administrative capacity at live events would be desirable.
· Experience of working away from home on a regular basis.
