Large & Complex
Large & Complex Audit will include listed companies (corporate and financial services), their subsidiaries in the UK and internationally, as well as other public interest entities such as banks, insurers, large private companies, and public sector organisations, including charities.
You can expect senior-level exposure and variety. You will work with some of the most influential companies in the UK and internationally, offering expert insights across the whole business.

As an Assistant Manager within the Audit & Assurance practice, you will have responsibility for:
1. Audit and Assurance planning and the delivery of the Audit and Assurance plan to the client;
2. Day-to-day management of field teams, including reviewing the work of staff members;
3. Liaison with key client staff providing timely reporting and management information;
4. Management of reporting requirements, including attendance at meetings;
5. Leading teams on challenging engagements, including transaction and project work;
6. Developing and mentoring more junior members of staff;
7. Involvement in tendering for new clients;
8. Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

Essential:
* Must have ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience of working with IFRS and UK or US GAAP reporting standards;
* The ability to present client data in a clear and concise format;
* Ability to develop effective client relationships;
* Project management experience;
* Highly proficient oral and written communication skills;
* Industry, FTSE Listed or International audit and assurance experience.
Desirable:
* PCAOB experience may be desirable for some client engagements; however, this is not essential.
