Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and agile Order Manager to oversee the flow of medical device orders across our supply chain. This individual will manage the end-to-end coordination of new orders, product exchanges, and returns between our contract manufacturers, global distribution centers, and end customers —with a strong focus on compliance, urgency, and patient impact. The role plays a critical function in ensuring the reliable and timely delivery of life-saving devices to healthcare providers and emergency responders around the world. Your role: • Overseeing the daily flow of orders for medical devices and service/exchange units, ensuring fulfillment from contract manufacturers to global DCs and final delivery to customers. • Act as the central coordination point between contract manufacturers, planning, logistics, customer service, and quality teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time delivery. • Track open orders, prioritize urgent medical device shipments, and proactively resolve issues that could impact availability or patient care. • Handle complex order types, including device swaps, field returns, and urgent service unit replacements, with sensitivity to regulatory and compliance requirements. • Maintain accurate order data in the ERP system (SAP preferred), ensuring traceability and alignment with Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial requirements. • Monitor inventory availability across supply nodes and flag risks that could lead to delayed shipments or backorders, especially for high-priority regions or critical care products. • Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to manage documentation requirements such as country-specific labeling, Certificates of Conformance, or Return Authorizations. • Provide timely communication and visibility to internal stakeholders on order status, fulfillment risks, and customer escalations. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline order management processes and enhance service levels in line with medical device industry expectations. You're right for the role if: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in order management or supply chain operations, ideally in the medical device or healthcare industry. • Understanding of regulated product order fulfillment, including traceability, documentation, and handling of serialized or lot-controlled inventory. • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, and strong Excel skills; experience with CRM. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work cross-functionally and globally. • High sense of urgency and accountability, especially when dealing with time-sensitive, patient-impacting shipments. • Detail-oriented and comfortable working within strict regulatory and quality requirements.
