Senior Administration Officer
Role Responsibility
This role is only open to those staff directly employed by KCC and temporary agency staff undertaking KCC work.
Location: Hybrid - Working from Home/Kroner House, Ashford.
Hours: 10.5 hours per week (Out of Hours)
Kent Enablement at Home provides domiciliary-based short term enablement services across Kent, delivering enablement services to people in their own homes.
Careline is the Out of Hours service for Kent Enablement at Home.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can demonstrate a capacity to cope with a wide variety of tasks dealing with frontline domiciliary services.
The post involves daily use of computerised systems; recording and relaying essential information to various staff; responsible for maintenance of quality records and leading a team of Administrators. Please note the job description is generic.
The Senior Administration Officer will directly support the Locality Organisers.
Key skills required:
1. Excellent communication and telephone skills
2. Good numeric and literacy skills
3. Knowledge of social care systems
4. Experience of supervising staff

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
Hours of work will be over a 4 week rota, mainly working from home, with the ability to travel to Kroner House Ashford, sometimes at short notice in the event of network/power failure and for meetings and training.

3. Saturday: 7am - 3pm

1. Monday: 6.30am - 08.30am
2. Tuesday: 6.30am - 08.30am

4. Friday: 6pm - 9pm
Week 3
1. Thursday: 6.30am - 08.30am
2. Friday: 6.30am - 08.30am
3. Saturday: 7am - 3pm
Week 4
1. Monday: 6.30am - 08.30am
2. Tuesday: 6.30am - 08.30am
3. Wednesday: 6.30am - 08.30am
4. Friday: 6pm - 9pm
Total: 10.5 hours per week.
