Role Purpose
To support the London BD function on strategic major pursuits, the prospecting of key longer-term opportunities and maintenance of accurate reporting to the wider business. The focus of this role is also to assist the London team in the support of prospecting future long-term opportunities using our Salesforce-based client relationship platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Working on selected 'must win' or strategic pitches by coordinating content.
* Support in writing, editing and designing RfP responses, pre-pitch documents and developing templates.
* Working on selected projects to help drive change in the business and improve the overall conversion/win rate.
* Working collaboratively with other members of the BD and pitch community to support the implementation of Finishing First.
* Supporting the sharing and dissemination of best practice pitch and BD materials across the London team.
* Monitor Salesforce to identify high priority pitches and ensure system is updated to reflect pitch progress, status, win rate reporting and feedback.
* Supporting a programme of Learning and Development within the London team, as they relate to Pitch and Business Development skills.
* Day-to-day administrative management of the pitch and BD function to enable efficient working.
Person Specification/Requirements
* Previous experience of working on developing bid and pitch content is essential, and whilst real estate experience is preferred, it is not essential.
* Passion for winning new business and driving continuous improvement in pitch performance is critical
* Experience of Salesforce CRM platform is preferred but not essential.
* Strong skills in Microsoft, particularly PowerPoint is critical.
* Excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills and an ability to work with people at all levels.
* First-rate attention to detail is essential.
