Position: Content Marketing Executive

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per year depending on experience (pro-rata for part-time)

rocket their success and profitability. We’re looking for a creative, organised, and driven Content Marketing Executive to help us build a stronger connection with our audience through impactful content and effective social media management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Copywriting: Write engaging, concise, and clear copy for blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and website content that reflects TruTrade’s positive and conversational tone.
2. Content Creation: Design eye-catching visuals, videos, and other assets for digital campaigns using tools like Canva and CapCut.
3. Social Media Management:
* Plan, schedule, and post content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
* Engage with our community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner.
* Monitor performance metrics to optimise content and campaigns.
1. Campaign Support: Assist our Head of Marketing with planning and executing marketing campaigns.
2. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with construction industry trends, social media innovations, and competitor activity to inform content and strategy.
3. Video Content Opportunities: Collaborate with a videography and editing team, with opportunities to expand your skills and contribute to growing video projects.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Content Creation: Experience with tools like Canva, CapCut (or similar), and basic video editing software.
2. Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of managing multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
3. Writing Skills: Ability to write clear, engaging, and audience-focused copy.
4. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
5. Analytical Thinking: Basic understanding of social media metrics and how to use them to improve content strategies.
Desirable Skills (Not essential – we can teach you!)
1. Familiarity with the construction industry or a willingness to learn about it.
2. Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Metricool.
3. Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
