Job summary The purpose of this post is primarily the management and leadership of the Application Development Team, designing and developing replacement processes to meet business requirements and become part of the Electronic Patient Record EPR. In a rapidly changing technology environment, the Trust needs to transform its processes and systems to meet developing business requirements. It must implement technology solutions which are aligned to the business focus. The EPR is critical to the Trust being the primary system for patient administration and care, expandingthrough development to incorporate other systems, both paper and electronic, over the next few yearsis essential. The post-holder will be responsible for leading a team of development specialist who willwork in conjunction with organisational teams such as the Digital Transformation Team in deliveringthis major change. Additionally the role covers the development and maintenance of other applications both clinical andadministrative, such as Robotic Process Automation, web based applications, Microsoft power appsand InfoFlex. Main duties of the job Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Trust's business requirements and long-termbusiness strategy, particularly in relation to EPR.
