This role is responsible for contributing to the Global Employee Relations framework evolution, including communication and case studies. The role delivers employee communications, supports performance management, offers expert Employee Relations (ER) consultation, and provides compliance guidance. The role develops training, collaborates with stakeholders, and represents the organization in external cases. Responsibilities: Conduct integrity and HR investigations relating to employee misconduct in all areas of HP business, ensuring that investigations are conducted in strict compliance with HP’s investigative guidelines and policies, and all applicable local laws and customs. Evaluate investigation findings to identify root causes and trends and assist in developing mitigation plans. Develops labor relations assessments and reporting, and ensures disciplinary policies, procedures, practices, and documentation are kept up to date. Examines case studies and contributes to the evolution of the global employee relations framework, including programs, policies, procedures, practices, and system enhancements. Collaborates with managers and supervisors to provide guidance and support on performance management matters, including performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and feedback conversations. Acts as an expert ER consultant managing complex HR escalations while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Keeps up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations and provides guidance to management and employees on compliance-related matters. Develops and delivers training programs for employees and managers on topics such as diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, communication skills, and workplace conduct, and provides guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations best practices and effective employee communication techniques. Partners with employment law, integrity councils, and HR in the review of case findings and proposed HR recommendations. Represents the organization in cases where the matter is referred to a tribunal, mediation, and/or mediation. Supports the management of the relationship with employee representative groups (work councils, unions, etc.) on behalf of the organization. Education & Experience Recommended: Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. 6 -10 years of work experience, preferably in employee relations, HR compliance, labor relations, employment & labor law, or a related field. Preferred Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR) Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Cross-Org Skills: Effective Communication Results Orientation Learning Agility Digital Fluency Customer Centricity Impact & Scope Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
