To manage a cohort of learners to achieve key performance targets in relation to, and not limited to: retention, achievement, and timely success rates.
Main duties of the job
To provide support and assistance to the Assistant Director of People & Development to deliver effective Apprentice training programs.
To provide a comprehensive education package to enrolled staff on apprenticeship programs to align with national and local legislation. Provide comprehensive assistance and support to staff undertaking apprenticeship training. Development of apprenticeship programs, where appropriate, and liaising with other internal developments as required.
To update the Apprenticeship Lead with specific staff issues (i.e., DNA, issues with competencies) and ensure all relevant documentation is correctly completed. Assist in preparing and presenting employee data to monitor the Trust's compliance and progress in meetings where required. Assist in the development of apprenticeship support systems and procedures, maintaining good working relationships with staff and students alike. Liaise with the Training Administration Team to maintain effective administrative coordination between Training and other NEAS departments. Although not a budget holder, the post-holder may influence expenditure by submitting requisitions. Maintain a record of current apprenticeship training being delivered and be aware of any forthcoming legislative needs or changes. Be able to operate in an advisory capacity to NEAS on apprenticeship program needs.
