One of our clients is seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor to join their accomplished team of surveyors, engineers, and technicians. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, varied, and engaging work while conducting detailed surveys to map and record underground utilities and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive utility surveys using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and other advanced tools.
* Accurately identify, locate, and map underground utility systems.
* Process survey data and generate detailed reports and drawings.
* Ensure all work meets PAS128 standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to achieve project goals.
* Provide technical expertise and support to junior surveyors.
* Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments.
* Support multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor to PAS128 standards.
* Level 3 qualification in Utility Mapping and Surveying or equivalent.
* Proficiency in GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment (experience with total stations and GPS is beneficial).
* Strong data processing and reporting experience.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including night shifts when required.
