The Vacancy
Fleet Sustainability and Efficiency Manager
The countdown to net zero has begun. Through smart metering, installation, data services, EV charging, and the electrification of heat, solar, and battery storage, we are driving a more sustainable future while staying true to our core values. Our mission is clear: Delivering Smarter Energy For All.
As we work towards the UK’s 2030 net zero target, we are seeking a Fleet Sustainability and Efficiency Manager to lead decarbonisation and optimise fleet performance across the Calisen Group. Working alongside our third-party fleet management partner, you will oversee fleet services for Calisen Metering and the wider Group, ensuring effective delivery within budget and standards.
Our fleet primarily consists of medium panel vans, and you will lead ESG-aligned initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce emissions, and support the transition to sustainable transport solutions. You will also ensure high safety standards through effective controls, training, and incident management. Leveraging new technology, management systems, and third-party support, you will drive continuous improvement while ensuring business needs are met.
Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week at our Wigan office (flexibility based on business needs).
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Salary: £45,000 per annum.

* Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to lead meetings, deliver training, and support ESG initiatives.
* A-Level / Level 3 qualification and Full UK driving licence.
