Main duties of the job
1. Receive, unpack and store deliveries from suppliers/wholesalers which includes stock rotation of medicines not stored in the pharmacy robot and storage procedures of medicines stored in the pharmacy robot.
2. Identify any discrepancies in stock levels, to investigate and correct as appropriate, under the direction of the Procurement Manager.
3. Liaise with the appropriate nursing staff/ward pharmacist on queries concerning distribution of stock items requested by wards/departments and clinics.
4. Assist in the dispensary for periods as needed by the department where labelling and dispensing of pharmaceutical products occurs in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
5. Process pharmacy orders and invoices in an accurate and timely manner and work in the dispensary, labelling and dispensing pharmaceutical products when needed by the service.

System Knowledge
* Knowledge of EMIS advantageous.
Experience
* Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
