This position is the main point of contact for RRSL with ONR, EA, and Internal Regulation (IR). All communications between each organisation are managed through this interface, and records are maintained of all formal correspondence. We offer excellent development, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance, and employee discounts.
Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. As a minimum, we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
* Managing all interfaces and communications between the ONR & EA and the two Nuclear Licensed Sites to ensure compliance with the Licence Conditions and Environmental permits.
* Leading, developing, and providing the administrative management service that underpins effective and coordinated relationships between the ONR & EA and the two Nuclear Licensed Sites.
* Acting as the focus for all engagement with the Regulators, including arranging meetings and ensuring that appropriate records of regulatory interactions are maintained.
* Providing advice and guidance across the company to encourage appropriate behaviours and ways of working that promote effective regulatory interaction and working relationships.
* Maintaining an understanding of regulatory charges to ensure RRSL's budget for discharging regulatory fees, including estimating costs and monitoring expenditure.
* Monitoring the effectiveness of regulatory relationships, establishing and reviewing goals and objectives.
Who we’re looking for:
* Familiarity with ONR Licence Conditions and regulatory reporting mechanisms is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of RRSL, SSLA, and CP management structure and arrangements.
* Strong understanding of ONR, EA, and Internal Regulation functions and operations in interacting with duty holders.
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Discretion in dealing with sensitive business elements.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, or relevant experience in a highly regulated organisation.
We’re an equal opportunities employer committed to developing a diverse workforce and an inclusive working environment. We believe that people from different backgrounds and cultures give us different perspectives.
