Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of Risk in implementing the Risk Management Plan.
2. Assist in the maintenance and management of the risk management framework and associated processes, which encompass:
3. The methodology for identifying and assessing risks and controls that affect the business
4. Overseeing and facilitating the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process for designated group entities through continuous collaboration with business stakeholders
5. Performing regular and ad-hoc risk assessments with business units, functions, and international entities, including organizing and managing workshops and their outcomes
6. Ensuring that governance and oversight processes are effectively integrated and operational
7. Work alongside first-line business areas to develop a consistent, practical, and proportionate approach to risk management
Skills:
1. Experience in a risk management position, ideally within the insurance sector (particularly the London market), although candidates with backgrounds in other financial services organizations will also be considered.
2. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
3. Proven experience in effectively managing multiple stakeholders.
