As an Operations Manager in our Employment, Skills and Training team, you’ll lead, motivate, and support teams that are helping people move from long-term unemployment into meaningful work. You’ll shape the performance of a vital public service, helping us deliver high standards and improve lives across the region.
You’ll be entrusted to:
* Lead a team of Team Leaders and Job Coaches to deliver high-quality, person-centred employment support
* Monitor and manage contract performance data, ensuring we meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer service standards
* Champion continuous improvement by identifying areas for development and supporting teams in finding effective solutions
* Build and nurture a culture of collaboration, learning and accountability across your teams
* Use management information systems to track outcomes and support strategic decision-making
* Promote training, development and safeguarding practices across the programme
* Act as an escalation point for complaints and ensure all stakeholders feel heard and supported
* Support contract reviews and engage positively with external partners and funders, including the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
