About the role As an Associate Outsourcing Manager, you will harness your passion for healthcare and life sciences to make a real impact on our products and consumers. Your responsibilities - Conduct the Outsourcing process by working with the Outsourcing team, the clinical and quality teams to ensure strategic selection of a suitable CRO or vendor. - Prepare core tender documents for designated projects. - Lead the tender process for designated projects and critically compare quotations and vendor proposals. -Conduct commercial and contractual communication and negotiations as a representative of Reckitt, with the CRO or clinical vendor, securing the optimal contractual agreement for the company. -Prepare contracts and change orders for execution with or without legal support. - Work with Legal to ensure robust contracts are implemented and risks are mitigated. - Manage study budgets and effectively communicate updates with key internal stakeholders. - Lead the reporting of metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Outsourcing activities to the Clinical and Medical Leadership team, Q&C and the bigger R&D organization. - Drive the productivity agenda to realise cost savings for Reckitt, ensuring these are reported effectively. The experience we're looking for - Experience in Clinical Outsourcing or project management, in a clinical or medical department within the consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical industry - Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record of capturing value - Strong vendor management skills with a demonstratable track record of leveraging vendor relationships to deliver positive outcomes - Knowledge of GCP / regulatory standards would be advantageous - GCP Training certification is advantageous but not essential - Contract development and management experience is advantageous - Pro-active and self directed with a high level of initiative and persistence - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate successfully in various team capacities The skills for success Task Execution Under Pressure, Business Acumen, Commercial Awareness, Objective Setting, Accountability, Consumer Insight, R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, Intellectual Property, Business Partnership, Collaboration and partnership building, Adapt to changes in technological development plans, Ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement, Innovation Processes.
