The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Directorate Manager and the Director of Medical Education. To provide support to the Medical Education Manager and Director of Medical Education in formulating directorate plans, policies and strategies, and monitoring arrangements for their implementation. To provide an efficient, effective and robust secretarial service to the Medical Education Manager, including arranging meeting, agendas, circulating papers minute taking, managing diaries, taking messages and general office duties. To process orders via Oracle, liaise with finance, raise petty cash remittance. To collect, collate and circulate, as appropriate, specific information required by the Manager, including study leave, appraisals, annual and sickness leave. Liaise with external stakeholders to organise conferences as required to include booking venues, catering, inviting delegates and circulating programmes. To work with, and provide cover for, other admin staff, if required, within the department. Any other duties appropriate to band and post as requested by the Manager.
