To work within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care within the service under the direction and supervision of an appropriate Registered Health Care Professional. To assist with basic administration duties. Responsible for safe use of equipment relevant to service. Ensure safe and effective use of equipment by service users, carers and familymembers, including fitting demonstration, and teaching of safe and appropriateuse. Ensure equipment is safe. Keep complete, clear, accurate and timely records, utilising digital platforms as required. Communicate effectively through a variety of methods including the use of interpersonal, written and verbal and non-verbal skills. Report any incidents, accidents or complaints in a timely manner, taking appropriate action as necessary. Support the induction of new team members. Participate in training and supportof less experienced support staff and students (including apprentices) in respectof tasks and responsibilities within scope of practice.
