The Role – Sustainability Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sustainable Golf Department as a Sustainability Manager. The successful candidate will implement relevant activities and activations that deliver the Sustainable Golf strategy which straddles R&A corporate sustainability and the sustainable golf strategic objectives. This will include areas such as Emission Reduction Plans, R&A Championships and waste management to improve organisational performance and enhance the reputation of the business as a leader in sustainability in sport.
Be a positive ambassador who is a key driving force in changing the perception of organisational sustainability by proactively engaging with relevant stakeholders to effectively communicate our story, showcase and share best practice using the data and insights from adoption.
This is a full time position working 35 hours per week.

Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Relevant bachelor’s degree (Sustainable Management, Environmental Science etc) or equivalent working experience
* Significant experience of working within the sustainability sector.
* Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment in collaboration with both private and public sector partners.
* Strong communication and project management capabilities.
About The R&A
