Bromsgrove and Redditch District Councils shared Finance service is on a journey. After being issued with a Section 24 notice in 2022, the Councils have been implementing an improvement programme to ensure they meet with statutory requirements and to build a finance function fit for the future. Following the appointment of a new Head of Service, we are restructuring our Finance Services and are looking to build on the existing service provision with a number of key appointments. Working directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial support and advice across service area(s) within the Council and be responsible for embedding a finance business partnering approach within these areas. You will need to have a background in working within finance and be AAT qualified.
